Despite this honor, our road projects continue to be delayed, crime is out of control, our courts and prisons are not given the resources they need to prosecute repeat offenders, and our state is ranked among the highest in states with the number of illegal immigrants. Meanwhile, $8 billion will be misspent on a light-rail system that will only carry 2% of the regional commuters and will have no meaningful impact on traffic congestion.
