Military Personnel
North Carolina is home to five major military base facilities and when our nation is at war, North Carolina plays a vital part. We must do everything we can to assist our military personnel who place their lives in harms way, and some who even pay the ultimate sacrifice with their lives in defending our nation.
- Co-sponsored SB 296, Military Death/In-State Tuition/Dependent. This bill would ensure that dependents of soldiers killed in action continue to receive in-state tuition if they are stationed in North Carolina.
- Co-sponsored SB 888, Study N.C. National Guard Pension Fund. This bill creates a study commission to review the benefits provided by the N.C. National Guard Pension Fund.
